The Structural discipline provides a collection of structures construction tools. These tools automate tasks such as placing steel trusses, joists, creating a simple steel-framed building, and so forth. The wizards that place the structures follow all of the Structural rules. If analytical features are enabled, appropriate analytical members are placed as you place the structures.

The Steel Structures tools are used to automate the steps of creating a standard steel framed building, placing steel trusses, steel/composite decks, and to place and modify bar joists, joist girders.
